Benjamin Rose is calling on local organizations, community groups and individuals to take part in its Food Donation Drive, helping to provide essential food and supplies for older adults in need.
With recent cuts to SNAP benefits, many of the older adults served by Benjamin Rose are facing increased challenges in meeting their daily nutritional needs. The Food Donation Drive aims to help bridge that gap, while also offering an opportunity for community members to connect directly with the programs and people their donations support.
Groups and organizations are encouraged to collect donations and arrange a drop-off at one of our participating Benjamin Rose locations. When making drop-offs, groups are also invited to tour the space and see the impact of their contributions firsthand.
In addition to group collections, individuals are welcome to contribute by arranging a donation drop off at Benjamin Rose headquarters or by purchasing items through the organization’s Amazon Wish List, making it easy to participate from anywhere.
All in-person drop-offs must be scheduled in advance. Those interested in arranging donation drop-offs or learning more about participation opportunities can contact Rebekkah Whelan at [email protected] or 216-373-1932.
