Northeast Ohio Boomer magazine took first place for Editorial/Opinion and Overall Design at the recent 2024 NAMPA (North American Mature Publishers Association) awards.

Northeast Ohio Boomer magazine earned first place for General Excellence and six other first-place awards for editorial content and design at the North American Mature Publishers Association (NAMPA) annual convention Sept. 12 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Northeast Ohio Boomer & Beyond magazine was the big winner at the recent North American Mature Publishers Association’s NAMPA 2021 Publishing Excellence Awards ceremony. Outpacing the pool of national competitors serving the boomer and senior readership markets across the country and in Canada, NEO Boomer magazine earned 12 total awards,including top honors in the all-around editorial and design categories of General Excellence and Overall Design. The magazine also placed first in five additional categories, second in four categories, and third in one category.

Northeast Ohio Boomer and Beyond earned nine awards for writing and design excellence from the North American Mature Publishers Association.

Northeast Ohio Boomer and Beyond magazine took first place for General Excellence and first place for Overall Design at the North American Mature Publishers Association convention in Memphis, Tenn., Oct. 14. Marie Elium is the magazine’s editor. Laura Chadwick is the art director/designer. Northeast Ohio Boomer and Beyond received seven other awards, three for writing and four for design.

Our readers are winners, and we are, too. At least that's what judges for members of the North American Mature Publishers Association say.

Northeast Ohio Boomer and Beyond earned Best of Show and 11 other awards for writing, layout and general excellence at the North American Mature Publishers Association annual convention in Oak Brook, Ill., on Sept. 25. Northeast Ohio Boomer and Beyond magazine is a lifestyle publication for active people in their 50s, 60s, and 70s.

For our May/June issue, Medina photographer Kim Stahnke, Boomer art director Laura Chadwick, magazine publisher Brad Mitchell and I met up with rocker/songwriter Michael Stanley at Cleveland’s famed Agora Theatre and Ballroom. The setting was a good one. After all, Stanley along with hundreds of musicians, have played the Agora, both at its Euclid Avenue location and its previous locations in Little Italy and near Cleveland State.
